Chainsaw Man Stage Play Reveals Cast, Promotional Photos

Chainsaw Man stage play announced the main cast ahead of the premiere. The play will be shown throughout September and October in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan. The cast includes:

• Tsuchiya Naotake as Denji
• Mizuki Umetsu as Aki Hayakawa
• Mahiru Coda as Power
• Minami Tsukui as Himeno
• Haruki Iwata as Kobeni
• Masashi Taniguchi as Kishibe
• Ko Kanegae as Hirokazu Arai
• Aya Hirano as Makima
• Ore-no-Graffiti/Shoma Yoshioka as Katana Man
• Masahide Tada and Yutaka Nakasone as Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man anime is based on a manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga is currently on its second part. Viz Media licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!

Studio MAPPA animated the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation under Ryu Nakayama’s direction last year. Kazutaka Sugiyama is the character designer, with Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who is credited for creature designs. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music. The main cast included:
