Chainsaw Man Manga Part 2 to End in Next Chapter (No Spoilers)

Written by Chike Nwaenie

The latest chapter of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man Part 2 manga confirms the series will end with the next chapter, set to be released on March 25 in Japan. While this specifically refers to Part 2 of the manga (the English releases on MANGA Plus and the Shonen Jump apps combine both parts, while the Japanese version maintains some distinction), it remains unclear whether this will mark the end of Chainsaw Man as a whole.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 begins with the 98th chapter of the series. It debuted on Shueisha’s Jump+ platform on July 13, 2022, after a 1.5-year break. The first part was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. VIZ licenses both Chainsaw Man parts in North America, describing the first volume of the series:

But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
