The Classroom of the Elite light novel series announced a new Halloween campaign, titled “TRICK OR TREAT,” offering posters of some of the series’ popular characters among the 2nd year students with select purchases. The characters include Suzune Horikita, Kei Karuizawa, Honami Ichinose, and Arisu Sakayanagi. The promotion is valid when fans purchase any of the books from Year 1 volumes 1 to 11.5 (including volumes 4.5 and 7.5) or Year 2 volumes 1 to 10 (including volumes 4.5 and 9.5) in Japan. Only one poster will be available per purchase. Per the official terms and conditions, the distribution method of the posters depends on the specific store, and stocks are limited. Halloween Fair! For every 1 book purchased, you get one ‘Trick or Treat’ card as a gift! (4 designs total)“
The Classroom of the Elite anime is fast approaching its January 2024 release date for the third season. While there hasn’t been much information since the Sakayanagi and Ayanokouji poster from July, Crunchyroll announced that the world premiere of season 3’s first episode will take place at its Anime NYC 2023 panel on November 19, 2023. Classroom of the Elite has been published under the name Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e by Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint since May 2015 with Tomoseshunsaku’s illustrations. Year 1 of the light novel concluded in September 2019 after 11 volumes and 3 side stories. Year 2 debuted in January 2020 and currently has 9 volumes and 2 side stories released. Manga adaptations of both years are ongoing. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the North American license to all of the Classroom of the Elite novels and manga.
