Jun’ichi Sakata storyboarded the upcoming episode, with Jutaro Sekino as the director. Hideyuki Kurata is once again writing the script. Hiroshi Ishiyama and Isoroku Koga are the chief animation directors for the episode. LIDEN FILMS is animating the second season.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. The light novel features a slew of characters, none of which have personal names. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
