Goblin Slayer Season 2 revealed a preview for episode 10, which is slated to air on Friday, December 8. The party safely delivers Sword Maiden to the capital and decides to take a much-needed break. The Priestess visits her former companion’s grave and then heads off to the baths with the High Elf Archer, while Goblin Slayer enjoys his first visit to the capital. While in the bath, Priestess meets a mysterious girl. This meeting ends up becoming a major incident that shakes up even the royal palace.
Daiki Handa is storyboarding and directing the episode. Hideyuki Kurata is once again writing the script. Studio LIDEN FILMS is animating the second season of the anime.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. None of the characters in the story have a personal name – instead, they are all known by their titles. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress.
