Goblin Slayer Season 2 revealed a preview for episode 8, which is slated to air on Friday, November 24. Following the events of last week’s episode, Goblin Slayer’s party fights the group of goblins that blocked the river. Soon they discover that a shaman is controlling them and get caught in a dangerous position. Will the wedding actually happen?
Jun’ichi Sakata is storyboarding this episode of Goblin Slayer. Shunji Yoshida is directing, with Hideyuki Kurata on the script. Studio LIDEN FILMS is animating.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. None of the characters in the story have a personal name – instead, they are all known by their titles. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
