Isoroku Koga is directing and storyboarding the episode, with Hideyuki Kurata on the script. Koga is also credited as the chief animation director and animation director on the episode, LIDEN FILMS is animating the continuation of the series, which is streaming on Crunchyroll.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. None of the characters in the story have a personal name – instead, they are all known by their titles. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
