The preview for episode 11 of the Goblin Slayer Season 2 is here, with some preview images and the staff information. Yoshiaki Okumura is storyboarding the episode, with Mikuni Samoto as the director. Hideyuki Kurata is writing the script for the episode, which will air on Friday, December 15. LIDEN FILMS is animating the series.
Episode 11 of Goblin Slayer Season 2 follows our titular protagonist and his party as they set off to save the king’s sister. They head to the deadly labyrinth, once conquered by the Sword Maiden, and fight numerous goblins. However, the person they are looking for is in grave danger and it is unclear if they will make it in time to save her.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. None of the characters in the story have a personal name – instead, they are all known by their titles. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season and the Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie that followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It’s the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue–a man who’s dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there’s no telling who might come calling next…
