CloverWorks’ Bocchi the Rock Anime Reveals Ikuyo Kita Visual

The official Twitter account for the Bocchi The Rock anime has posted a character visual for Ikuyo Kita, and revealed that her voice actress will be Ikumi Hasegawa. The anime was previously announced for a 2022 premiere, with studio CloverWorks in charge of the production. They previously released visuals for Hitori Goto, Nijika Ijichi and Ryo Yamada You can see the new visual below:

Yoshino Aoyama is voicing the main character Hitori, Sayumi Suzushiro is voicing Nijika, and Saku Mizuno is voicing Ryo. The staff for the Bocchi the Rock anime includes Keiichiro Saitou as the director, Erika Yoshida in charge of the series composition and script and Kerorira as the character designer.

Aki Hamaji writes and draws the original 4-panel manga, which began in 2018. The story for it goes:

Gotou Hitori is a high school girl who starting learning to playing the guitar because she dreams of being in a band, but she’s so shy that she hasn’t made a single friend. However, her dream might come true after she meets Ijichi Nijika, a girl who plays drums and is looking for a new guitarist for her band. (Anime-Planet)

Ikuyo Kita is the 4th character to get her character visual, and we might get a release date for Bocchi the Rock soon!
