Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction Anime Movie Introduces Cast

The previously announced Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction anime adaptation of Inio Asano’s manga of the same name has announced its initial cast members. The anime is a two-part movie by Production +h and is set to premiere in Spring 2024. While the two main characters, Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa have not been confirmed, the current cast list alongside images of their characters are:

Inio Asano’s Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction manga debuted in April 2014 in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine. The series was licensed by VIZ Media for North America. Overall, Asano’s manga has over 3mn copies worldwide and is praised for its entertaining plot despite documenting the mundanity of life. The Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction marks Asano’s first work to be turned into anime. The anime adaptation will be movie-length and is directed by Tomoyuki Kurokawa, with writing by Reiko Yoshida, and music composition by Taro Umebayashi.
