The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 has released the preview images and trailers for episode 5. The episode will air on November 1, 2023, and Alexia Midgar will finally return. This will be her first appearance since episode 20 of the first season. You can watch the trailer below:

The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) is a Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been serializing it with Tozai’s illustrations since 2018, and it currently has 5 volumes in circulation. Yen Press licensed the light novel series in English. The anime is currently adapting the 3rd volume and the synopsis goes by:
