Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Stage Play Gets New Visual

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series has revealed a new visual for its 3rd stage play, which will focus on the Infinity Train arc. The play will run in Tokyo and Kyoto from September to October 2022., and you can see the new visual below:

Tickets go on sale in Japan tomorrow, August 20, 2022. The performance schedule is as follows:

  • September 10-11 – Tokyo Dome City Hall
  • September 16-25 – Kyoto Theater
  • October 15-2 – Tokyo Dome City Hall

The cast for the Demon Slayer: Infinity Train stage play includes:

  • Ryota Kobayashi as Tanjiro Kamado
  • Karen Takahashi as Nezuko Kamado
  • Keisuke Ueda as Zenitsu Agatsuma
  • Yugo Sato as Inosuke Hashibira
  • Taiki Naito as Enmu
  • Jin Aoki as Akaza
  • Hiroshi Yazaki as Kyojuro Rengoku
  • Kyohei Shimokawa as Senjuro Rengoku
  • Daisuke Hosomi as Shinjuro Rengoku

The stage play will adapt the manga’s Infinity Train arc, which was adapted in the 2020 anime feature film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, and then later retold in the TV anime version of the arc that aired from October to November 2021.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. A twenty-six-episode anime series was animated by Ufotable and aired from April to September 2019, and a second season that aired from October 2021 to February 2022. Official synopsis for Infinity Train:

After their rehabilitation training, Tanjiro and his comrades begin their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared. With one of the most powerful swordsmen, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, they face the nightmare on board.
