The official Twitter account of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba posted a birthday illustration for Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, on November 29. Studio ufotable drew the illustration which features the character and three pther Hashiras. The studio also celebrated Uzui Tengen’s birthday with an illustration at the end of October 2022.
Tomokazu Seki known (Gilgamesh in Fate franchise) is voicing Sanemi Shinazugawa in the anime adaptation. Kengo Kawanishi (Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone) is the voice actor of Muichiro Tokito. Saori Hayami (Yor Forger in Spy x Family) is playing the role of Shinobu Kocho. Katsuyuki Konishi (Kamina in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) is acting as Tengen Uzui. Studio ufotable also streamed a video of the Wind Hashira’s scenes on the official YouTube channel, which was available on November 29 (JST).

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shonen manga series serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. It ended with a total of 23 volumes, which surpassed 150 million circulating copies. The manga inspired anime adaptation by ufotable; the first season (Tanjiro Kamado Unwavering Resolve Arc) aired from April to September 2019 with a total of 26 episodes. Mugen Train arc was first published as a movie and then later adapted into TV anime which aired from October to November 2021 with 7 episodes. This was directly followed by the Entertainment District Arc, which aired from December 21 to February 2022 with 11 episodes. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train movie premiered in 2020 and broke the record of Japan’s highest-grossing film of all time. The anime’s Swordsmith Village Arc is currently in production and scheduled to release new information on December 10.
