Tengen Uzui Gets Birthday Illustration by Ufotable

Studio ufotable drew a birthday illustration for Demon Slayer‘s Tengen Uzui – the Sound Hashira. The illustration features Tengen and his wives. A special trailer was posted for his birthday by Jump’s Official YouTube channel on the same day.

The newly-released image shows sake-drinking Tengen Uzui celebrated by his three wives; Makio (left) is sitting right next to him and holding a Tokkuri sake bottle. Suma (center) is jumping with a big smile on her face and showering her husband with flower petals, while Hinatsuru (right) is looking at her with a worried face and trying to feed the newly aged man. The letters behind them covered with the petals in the head means “celebration”, while the texts on both sides say “October 31- Tengen Uzui was born”.
