Demon Slayer Season 2 Reveals Release Date

Demon Slayer Season 2 has an official release date – December 5th. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc will premiere on October 10 with seven episodes. The first episode will feature the day leading up to the premiere of the film, followed by six more episodes with new scenes and music.

After that, the Entertainment District Arc begins. The anime will run for 2 cours in Fall and Winter and every Sunday after the premiere.

LiSA will be performing the opening theme “Akeboshi” and ending theme ”Shirogane” for the Mugen Train episodes. On the other hand, Aimer is performing the opening theme “Zankyosanka” and the ending theme ”Asa ga kuru” for Demon Slayer season 2, which is definitely one of the most anticipated anime of Fall 2021.

The newly added cast includes Miyuki Sawashiro as Daki, the main antagonist for the Entertainment District Arc.

The anime will air with no changes from the original, even after complaints about the content of the upcoming arc.

Demon Slayer manga, by Koyoharu Gotouge, finished its 4-year long run last year, after 205 chapters. The first season of the anime aired in 2019 and had 26 episodes. The sequel movie came out in 2020 and became one of the highest-grossing Japanese movies worldwide. BluRay and DVD release sold over 486 thousand copies in under 24 hours.
