The official Twitter of Edens Zero revealed a teaser trailer for season 2 of the series, along with an April 2023 premiere date. Aside from Shiki, Rebecca, and the other main cast, the villains of the upcoming season were also featured in the new trailer. Studio J.C Staff is animating the second season, and you can watch the trailer below:

The series was previously announced with a key visual in August. The first season of Edens Zero aired from April 2021 until October 2021 and had 25 episodes in total. Yushi Suzuki directed the first season with Shinji Ishihara as chief director.
The Edens Zero manga series has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2018, and the 22nd compilation volume will be released today as well. Kodansha US is publishing it in English, and they describe the story:
At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
