Eiichiro Oda – Message for the final ONE PIECE saga

Back when I was a kid, there was a certain vision I had in mind: “I want to draw a manga where the finale is its highest peak…! I wonder if I can pull it off…!!”

Now then, only a little longer is left to wrap up the Wano Country Saga. After a long time, the preparations are almost done. It only took 25 years. LOL

Though, it’s totally okay even if you read from here on. After all… from here on we’re getting to (the) ONE PIECE!!

I will be drawing every single mystery in this world that I’ve been hiding until now.

It will be fun.

Please fasten your seat belts.

PLEASE LOOK FORWARD TO IT!!!

The upcoming ONE PIECE FILM RED movie is also coming outside Japan this fall, and three of the songs for the upcoming film were already released alongside animated music videos. They are the main theme song “New Genesis”, the collaboration with Mrs. Green Apple “I’m invincible.” and the collaboration with Vaundy “Backlight”.

Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE manga began 25 years ago, in July 1997, and it’s just entering its final saga! The anime adaptation started in October 1999, and it is also still going strong. His latest estimate for the manga ending was 4-5 years back in 2020! You can watch the ONE PIECE on Crunchyroll, and you can catch up to the latest manga chapter for free on either VIZ website or MANGA Plus.
