My Happy Marriage unveiled a spring-themed visual ahead of the July premiere of the anime. Kinema Citrus is animating the adaptation of light novels, which is going to be streamed by Netflix worldwide. The theme songs for the anime are:

Takehiro Kubota is directing the My Happy Marriage anime, with Takahito Onishi, Ami Sato, and Takao Abo on series composition. Shoko Yasuda is in designing the characters, while fashion designer Halka is working on kimono designs. Yushi Koshida is listed as the 3DCG director and Evan Call is in charge of the music. My Happy Marriage is a fantasy romance light novel written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. It started serializing in January 2019 in Fujimi L Bunko. A manga adaptation is being published in Gangan Online magazine. Yen Press licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother.
