Episode 4 of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Gets Delayed

The official Twitter account for the Demon Slayer franchise announced that the broadcast of Episode 4 of the Mugen Train arc will be delayed to November 7, 2021. It was supposed to air on October 31, which is the ballot date for Japan’s ongoing lower house election since October 19, 2021.

The tweet says that a special live TV program “Live Senkyo Sunday” will broadcast on October 31 instead of the anime’s fourth episode.

TV Anime Demon Slayer: Mugen Train began on October 10, 2021, and will have seven episodes in total. The anime airs at 11:15 pm JST every Sunday, the live broadcast, however, ends around 11:50 pm. The election has also affected other TV stations in Japan. The third episode of the anime will be available on October 24 as planned.
