Thoma is coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character, the official accounts for the game confirmed today. The exact banner he’ll be on hasn’t been confirmed yet, but judging from the previous Genshin Impact announcements, he’ll likely be added in the 2.2 update.
Thoma was first introduced in the 2.0 update. He wields a Pyro vision, as we’ve seen in the main storyline quest. He works with the Kamisato clan and has a close relationship with Kamisato Ayaka.

The official Genshin Impact Facebook page gave us more information about Thoma. He is originally from Mondstadt but now lives in Inazuma. He works as Kamistao Clan’s housekeeper, but as we already know, he is also a famous fixer. Although he’s an outlander, he is very friendly and sociable, which is why he has a powerful network of associates in Inazuma. Thoma is a fighter who is ready to defend the interests of the Yashiro Comission. However, even he sometimes feels unspeakable homesickness.

Genshin Impact launched its long-awaited Inazuma update in July. The update featured a map expansion, a continuation of the storyline, and a new set of playable characters. The follow-up 2.1 update is coming on September 1st, with Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi as playable characters.
