Gimai Seikatsu (Days With My Stepsister) Gets a TV Anime Adaptation

Gimai Seikatsu (Days With My Stepsister) series is getting an anime adaptation as announced earlier during the MF Bunko J’s Summer School Festival event, which was streamed on Kadokawa’s YouTube channel. The anime cast was revealed and it includes the voice actors who are already part of the Gimai Seikatsu YouTube project:

  • Yuki Nakashima as Saki Ayase
  • Kohei Amasaki as Yuta Asamura
  • Minori Suzuki as Shiori Yomiuri
  • Ayu Suzuki as Maaya Sakamoro
  • Daiki Hamano as Tomokazu Maru

Gimai Seikatsu (Days With My Stepsister) – Anime Announcement PV

The plot follows Yuta and Saki who are classmates until their parents marry. Saki is seen as the most beautiful girl in their school, but Yuta knows to keep a distance. The two make a promise to work together and respect each other without pushing boundaries but with time they grow closer. A teaser visual has been revealed:

Gimai Seikatsu – Anime Teaser Visual

Gimai Seikatsu is a mix-media project that first started with a YouTube channel that shared short videos about the characters. The light novel series written by Ghost Mikawa and illustrated by Hiten has been serialized since January of 2021, while a manga adaptation by Yumika Kanade has been ongoing since July of the same year.
