Goodbye, Eri by Tatsuki Fujimoto to Receive Physical Manga Release

The recently released one-shot Goodbye, Eri by Tatsuki Fujimoto will be receiving a physical manga release on July 4, 2022, according to editor Shihei Lin. The entire 200-page one-shot will be printed in a single volume.

Goodbye, Eri was released on the Shonen Jump+ website back in April of this year. Viz Media and Manga Plus both published the English version on the same day as the Japanese release. The one-shot received plenty of praise after its release, managing to receive over 2.2 million reads on the Shonen Jump+ website within 24 hours of its release. This is now Fujimoto’s second popular one-shot in the past two years after publishing Look Back in 2020, which received over 4 million reads in the first two days making it one of the most popular one-shots in Jump+ history.

Lin has a good history with Fujimoto, working as his editor for Chainsaw Man, Goodbye, Eri, and the previously released Fire Punch series. He also mentions in his tweet that fans will have to wait just a little longer for the highly anticipated part two of Chainsaw Man. Part one of the manga ended with chapter 97 back in December 2020. With an award-winning manga and widely popular one-shots, Fujimoto’s success seems to just be getting started.
