Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Anime Trailer Revealed, Animated by MAPPA

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku anime got a trailer during Jump Festa 2022 on Sunday, along with a new key visual. The series will be animated by Studio MAPPA, which is known for series such as Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and God of High School. You can view the new trailer below:

The eighth issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump 2021 magazine announced that Yūji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga is getting a TV anime adaptation. The adaptation announcement came when the manga officially came to an end on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and website.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Manga Success

The Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga officially ended back in January of this year with the 127th chapter and Volume 13 began shipping out three months later. Volume 13 ended up selling 39,759 copies within the first week, second behind volume which sold 45,319 copies in the first week.

Back in 2018 when the series debuted, it was hailed as the most popular manga on Shonen Jump+. It ended up placing 11th in the “Web Manga” category during the 2018 Next Manga Awards. Now, the series has over 3.8 million copies in circulation as announced during Jump Fest 2022

Stage Play Information

The Hell’s Paradise stage play will be making it’s debut in Fall 2022. This is one of many recent stage plays to be announced. Other anime that have received stage plays this year include My Hero Academia, Spirited Away, The Case Study of Vanitas, and Pretty Boy Detective Club.
