Episode 3 of the anime ‘How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’ is finally out! The previous episode ended with Souma recruiting talented people across the kingdom to be his aide. Thus, this episode shows the arrival of the talented ones, which I consider the best characters.
Please take note that this section contains some spoilers.
The first talented person to introduce to Souma was Aisha Udgard. She is a dark elf who lives in the “God-Protected Forest”. Aisha has brown skin, pointed ears, and silver hair.
According to the books, the dark elves are the ones responsible for protecting the forest. They possess elevated skills in combat, which makes them special. With that in mind, Aisha demonstrated remarkable talents in fighting arts, which led her to be one of the chosen to be the king’s aide.
After the introduction, Aisha requests to Souma that instead of giving her a reward, can he just provide her wisdom on how to grow trees in a forest. She explained the situation of the “God-Protected Forest,” and after hearing that, Souma tells her all the things he knows about the topic. Because of that, Aisha decides to make Souma her master and sworn to him that she will do everything he wants just to repay him.
Personally, I’m looking forward to what will happen to her and Souma in the future. After all, Aisha declares that it’s okay for her to become his concubine, and that’s the reason why I call her best. Of course, it surprised Liscia and makes me think that there will be a love triangle in the future.
The second person was Juna Doma, who inherits the blood of the “Loreleis.” From the records, she has unparalleled beauty and a singing voice incomparable to any other. Juna has long blue hair, a beautiful face, a huge chest, and a perfect body.
Well, in this scene, she even caught Souma’s attention because of her looks. As a result, Liscia glared at him and shows that she is jealous. On the other hand, Souma says that he wants to hear Juna’s singing voice.
To their surprise, Souma gets his cellphone and lets Juna listen to one of its songs. After hearing just once, she already memorized the song and performs it in front of them. Then, Juna tells Souma that she wants to hear more songs from his cellphone.
Actually, in this episode, she is my favorite character because her appearance also caught my attention.
Another thing that I like about her is the fact that Reina Ueda is the one voicing her, and I really love it, because Ueda is also the voice of my favorite character in “Genshin Impact,” Ganyu. That said, it seems that Juna will also be Liscia’s rival in Souma’s heart in the future.
The third person to introduce was Poncho Panacotta. He gets nervous easily and clumsy to the point that he trips himself while walking in front of Souma. Poncho is a fat guy with unparalleled talent in eating.
There were many people who claim to be best at eating, but Poncho stands out the most. Not only that, but he is also the most knowledgeable among them in terms of meats, vegetables, and other details about foods. After hearing that, Souma approached him happily and announced that Poncho is the one he needs the most.
Well, I look forward to what will happen to him in the future. My friends told me before that Poncho is the character in the series. They are also hyped in this episode 3 of ‘How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’ because it’s his debut in the castle.
The fourth person was Hakuya Kwonmin. According to him, he is recommended by his uncle to join Souma’s aide because of his unrivaled knowledge in the kingdom. Hakuya is a very serious-looking man with neck-level black hair.
In this case, Hakuya reveals that he is trying to judge Souma if he is a worthy ruler for the kingdom. He said that if Souma rejects Poncho, he is not worthy. However, since Souma warmly accepts him, Hakuya formed a conclusion that he is a king worthy of his assistance.
Souma wants to make Hakuya a librarian at first since he likes reading but he refused. Then, to his surprise, Hakuya tells him that he wants to be in charge of his “Hegemony.” Because of that, Souma invites him into his quarters, and after talking for hours, he became the right-hand man of the king.
I think Souma’s relationship with Hakuya will be interesting. From what I’ve seen, he is the only one who can speak to Souma without fear. Also, since Hakuya is Souma’s right-hand man, I will look forward to the developments that they are going to make for the kingdom.
The last person to introduce was Tomoe Inui, who is from the mystic wolf tribe. Based on the evaluations, she has exceptional talent in conversing with different animals and beasts. Tomoe is a cute 10-year-old girl with wolf ears at the top of her head, white hair, and a tail.
Tomoe is one of the refugees living in their kingdom because of the demon lord’s invasion. On the other hand, the prime minister of the kingdom considers her as a gift from the heavens because of her unusual talent. That said, Souma seems to have trouble thinking about how he can use Tomoes’s talent.
Well, for me, Tomoe is really cute. I am really curious about this part because the episode ended with her whispering something to Souma. Then, after hearing that, Souma got surprised.
What did Tomoe say to Souma? To know the answer, episode 4 will air on July 25. You can watch the anime on Funimation.
