Hobby Japan has been publishing it since 2015 with Eiji Usatsuka’s illustrations and it currently has 25 volumes in circulation. Kadokawa is serializing a manga adaptation by Soto on Comp Ace online magazine. J-Novel Club licensed the In Another World With My Smartphone light novel series in English and describes the plot as:
After a freak accident involving some lightning winds up zapping him dead, 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up to find himself face-to-face with God. “I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder…” laments the old coot.
