Iruma-kun season 2 episode 6, otherwise known as Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, finally aired. Oh man after the end of last week’s episode, this show finally comes full circle.
This is already one of my favorite shows of this season, but we finally meet the character Myself and other manga fans have long waited to see. The story takes a darker turn, but not for the worst. The comedy, most of us have known this show for, is ever-present, and the characters are all perfect in their roles once again.
“Evil Cycle Iruma” makes his debut finally thanks to Ali-San. This Iruma is the complete and utter opposite of the Iruma we have come to know and love. Pulling no punches, he respects no one and carries unmatched confidence compared to his previous version.
I mean the first thing he does, disrespects his ‘Grandfather’ Sullivan, and ignore Opera. He turns Alice into the servant he wants to be, and openly flirts with Clara. From this point the intensity only grows, no one is safe from the new Iruma.
In Iruma-Kun Season 2 Episode 6, this Iruma sees the state of his Classroom and decides he has had enough. The disrespect he tolerated before because of his kindness, shall be returned equally. He confronts Kalego Sensei and doesn’t falter once as makes a new demand.
He makes his claim to take over the prestigious ‘Royal One’ which belonged to the previous Demon King. Naturally, most staff are opposed as that is considered sacred ground, however, this Iruma comes up with a brilliant plan.
As long as Iruma and his classmates can manage to get permission slips signed by all the staff, then they have a deal. Even some of his own classmates are in disbelief as to how much Iruma has changed. Though he puts everything at ease quickly, with a sly speech that targets everyone’s interest.
The new Iruma has emerged and I cannot wait to see what he has in store. This new character development leads to some of the better points in the story for me, so I cannot even begin to recommend this show enough if you haven’t seen it already.
