Jujutsu Kaisen franchise will be holding an exhibit from July 6 to August 27 of this year in Shibuya Hikarie Hall. A key visual for the event has been revealed:
The exhibit will focus on Gege Akutami’s creative process and the use of digital methods in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. In addition, the exhibit will showcase drafts and non-final sketches. A limited number of lucky visitors will be able to get a special ticket that features an acrylic diorama with Gojo Satoru:
The manga is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It launched on March 5, 2018, and has since become one of the most popular shonen titles of today. Viz Media is publishing it in English. The plot follows modern-day sorcerers as they battle curses, spirits, and other ancient evil.
The series received a successful anime adaptation by MAPPA studio. In addition to two anime seasons, a prequel movie focusing on Jujutsu Kaise 0 spin-off was also released. The third season, which will focus on the Culling Game arc, has been announced. Recently, the franchise announced a special screening of episodes 41-44 complete with new editing and animation cuts.
