You have surely heard of the “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” (Rent-A-Girlfriend) anime. It is one of the most popular shows this season, though the protagonist frequently gets hate for his character. The same can be said for one of the girls, Mami-chan, whose merchandise was selling far worse than the others. Anyway, it’s an adaptation of Reiji Miyajima’s manga of the same name. It was first serialized 3 years ago, and it is now getting a Kanojo, Okarishimasu exhibition to celebrate the big milestone.
The event has a beautiful visual featuring all the girls (also the thumbnail), and the full version is below:
Among the merchandise being sold, there will be keychains for every girl:
There will also be pillows with scenes from the manga:
There will also be clear files for all the girls:
Not to forget a beautiful art canvas featuring the girls:
Lastly, there is also a “freesia STAFF” hoodie, which comes in grey and pink:
The Kanojo, Okarishimasu exhibition opens on October 10 (closes October 26th) at Tokyo’s Yurakucho Marui, and will open in Osaka on December 24 (until January 4, 2021). It was also mentioned that a part of the exhibition will feature recordings of voices recorded by the anime cast members, but it hasn’t been disclosed as of now. As usual, I hope these images are some satisfaction to all of us who can’t currently go to Japan to attend the event itself.
