Killing Slimes episode 9 has landed – Again, as I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level remains the longest phrase. So, peace is somewhat restored, especially since last week’s episode was absolute chaos. However, tragedy strikes as unfortunately sweet baby Falfa wakes up as a slime!
This week has a little bit of everything for any viewer: Fans of the Comedy get plenty of hysterical moments. Meanwhile, any fans of action can get their fill as a fight tournament is in the works.
So, let’s start at the beginning, as Azusa wakes up one morning to see only one of her daughters awake. Shalsha remains a sweet little girl, however there’s a slime that’s taken the place of Falfa.
For some reason, she has turned into a slime – and one seems to know why. Pondering solutions, Asuza also explains that magic cannot fix this issue as it is a problem too specific. They naturally turn to an expert on monsters, demon officer Beelzebub.
She doesn’t have a solution herself, but she thinks she knows someone who can help. In the demon lord’s castle lies an intelligent slime who might know the way. After some soul searching (and actual searching) they finally found the slime. Sadly, they themselves cannot help, but they are referred to another slime expert, Magician Slime.
Long story short, Killing Slimes episode 9 turns into a scavenger hunt for the various slime experts in the world. Wouldn’t you know it, we find ourselves entered into a fighting tournament. Do not ask me how this became the solution, as this show is about fun chaos, and this is in fact fun chaos.
Brace yourself for one of the wilder episodes of this season, as this started as an episode to save a little girl. Somewhere along the way, we make some new friends, learn about ourselves, and be in a fighting tournament, because why not. Don’t worry, at some point we will save Falfa from being a slime forever… probably.
Another great episode for everyone’s taste. Between some horrendous naming skill, and God-tier fight sequences, Killing Slimes Episode 9 will have you on the edge of your seat for some reason, I can guarantee it.
Oh, and if you are in fact a big of a fan of this show as me, then please support Killing Slimes for 300 Years in the Anime Corner weekly poll!
