Season 3 of KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World revealed a new teaser visual and a 2024 release date. The long-anticipated sequel will be animated by studio Drive.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima is light novel series that first started publishing in 2013. The series ended in 2020, after 17 volumes. The series received multiple spin-offs and side stories, along with an anime adaptation. The first season of the anime adaptation was animated by Studio DEEN. It aired in the Winter 2016 anime season and had 10 episodes. Season 2, titled KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 2, also had 10 episodes and aired in the Winter 2017 season. Both seasons were followed by an OVA episode. A spin-off anime focusing on Megumin and covering the KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World novels, premiered in April of this year and ended earlier today. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 was announced along with the spin-off.
J.C. Staff animated the KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Movie: Legend of Crimson movie, which premiered in 2019. In addition to the TV anime and the movie, KonoSuba is also a part of the Isekai Quartet universe.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
