The official Twitter account for the Laid-Back Camp anime has revealed a new trailer, which is a celebration for the Laid-Back Camp movie attracting over 650,000 people and earning over $7 million USD since its premiere on July 1 in Japan. Prior to its premiere, the movie released a visual for all the Outdoor Activities Club members, as well as a teaser visual. You can watch the new trailer:

The movie is a sequel to the TV anime, with the staff returning. Studio C-station was in charge of the movie’s production, with Yoshiaki Kyougoku as the director. Mutsumi Sasaki was in charge of the character designs, and Mutsumi Ito and Jin Tanaka supervised the screenplay. The cast also reprised their roles, and they include:

Nadeshiko, a high school student who had moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, decides to see the famous, 1000 yen-bill-featured Mount Fuji. Even though she manages to bike all the way to Motosu, she’s forced to turn back because of worsening weather. Unable to set her eyes on her goal, she faints partway to her destination. When she wakes up, it’s night, in a place she’s never been before, with no way of knowing how to get home. Nadeshiko is saved when she encounters Rin, a girl who is out camping by herself. This outdoorsy girls story begins with this first encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.
