Laid-Back Camp Movie Reveals July 1 Release Date, Ena Visual

The upcoming Laid-Back Camp (also known as Yuru Camp) movie revealed a July 1 release date along with a new “off-shot” visual featuring Ena Saito and her dog Chikuwa. Studio C-Station is animating the movie.

Special character visuals were previously released for Nadeshiko (Yumiri Hanamori), Rin (Nao Toyama), Chiaki (Sayuri Hara), and Aoi (Aki Toyosaki).

The movie is a sequel to the TV anime, which currently has two seasons. C-Station studio animated both the anime and is also working on the movie, which will be directed by Yoshiaki Kyougoku. Mutsumi Sasaki is in charge of character designs, while Mutsumi Ito and Jin Tanaka are writing the screenplay. Tanaka also worked on the TV anime, but Ito did the series composition for Room Camp (Heya Camp) side-story. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in the Winter 2018 season, with the second following in Winter of 2021. Crunchyroll co-financed the anime and also streamed it.

Laid-Back Camp is based on a manga by Afro, which started serialization in 2015 The manga has 12 volumes, with Yen Press publishing the English translation.
