LiSA's Homura Exceeds 100 Million Views On YouTube

As seen on LiSA’s official YouTube channel, the single which was used in the Demon Slayer anime film, ‘Homura’ has been watched over 100 million times on the platform. It was uploaded on October 12, 4 days before the movie! You can watch and listen to it below:

The beloved singer also posted a video to thank the fans for this huge milestone:

The song is insanely popular worldwide. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) reported that it was certified platinum a few days ago, which means that it has shipped over 250,000 copies since its release on October 14 this year. In addition, Oricon also keeps announcing how LiSA’s song is dominating their charts. The latest news is that it’s still on top after 9 consecutive weeks! The only other song to ever hold first place for 9 weeks was Kenshi Yonezu’s “Lemon” back in 2018.

The song was also the first to reach 100 million plays, as reported by Billboard Japan a few weeks ago. Both the song and movie are still going strong. “Demon Slayer: Infinity Train” has already left a huge mark, and it’s close to becoming the highest grossing film of all time in Japan. Don’t forget that there’s also a ton more material left of the manga, and it’s surely to get animated as well.

LiSA’s “Homura” will definitely go far above 100 million views on YouTube and elsewhere, and I’m looking forward to her future songs!
