LiSA’s new album “Lander” is coming on November 16, as announced earlier today, along with a music video for “New Me” – the lead single. This is LiSA’s sixth full-length album and the first one in the past two years.
In addition to the music video, “New Me” is now also available for streaming. The new album will have a total of 14 songs and will include LiSA’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba theme songs: “Homura” and “Akeboshi” which were used in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train movie and TV anime, respectively. LiSA is a Japanese singer and songwriter, currently signed with Sony Music’s Sacra Music label. She is a well-known name among the anime community, having performed a number of anisongs over the past years. She performed theme songs for the Sword Art Online franchise (Crossing Field, Adamas, Rising Hope, unlasting, and more), Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Gurenge),Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night, The Irregular at Magic High School, Nisekoi and many more. She debuted as a part of the Girls Dead Monster group, which was featured in the Angel Beats! anime story. She provided Yui’s singing voice in the anime.
She is currently married to Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who is also a singer and a voice actor. The couple announced a hiatus back in August of 2021 after allegations of Suzuki’s cheating with a female fan surfaced. Weeks later, LiSA announced that she would be resuming activities, starting with her “Ladybug” tour in November 2021. Netflix previously announced a documentary centered on the singer, which is set to release this fall.
