As you can see above, the figure comes with three face plates, including a smiling face, a winking face and an “I totally wuv him” face. The optional parts include a copy of “Slippery Girls 2”, a leopard print mirror and Marin’s special omurice with “sorry” written on top. A Shizuku-tan body pillow is included too, and they encourage fans to create different scenes from the anime with the Nendoroid. The Marin Kitagawa Nendoroid figure is priced at 6,500 yen ($48 USD).

The original has been on ongoing in the Young Gangan magazine since January 19, 2018. Square Enix Manga has also been publishing the series in English as My Dress-Up Darling since April 14, 2020. It received a 13-episode anime adaptation by CloverWorks, which was voted as the best new anime of Winter 2022.  Crunchyroll is streaming it, and they describe the story:

Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. |

That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
