The previously announced Mato Seihei no Slave anime revealed three additional cast members during the Jump Festa 2022’s Red stage. Yume Miyamoto (Himari Azuma), Mari Hino (Shushu Suruga), and Hina Tachibana (Nei Okawamura) are joining the cast of the upcoming anime. Yuya Hirose is voicing the protagonist Yuuki Wakura, while Akari Kito will voice the main heroine, Kyouka Uzen. There is still no information regarding the release date of the series, which is being animated by Studio Seven Arcs (Sekirei).

Mato Seihei no Slave is Japanese manga series by Takahiro (Akame Ga Kill!) with Takemura as the illustrator. Shueisha is publishing the manga series since January 2019, and as of now, it currently has 9 volumes with more than 1 million copies in circulation.
Mato, a demon-filled dimension has opened and poses a threat to humanity. In the world, there is a peach tree that bears a fruit that can give special powers to those who eat it. With this, humanity now stands a chance in fighting the demons. However, only women can eat it.
