Meet Shizuoka Through Laid Back Camp and Love Live Sunshine Campaign

Fans of Laid Back Camp and Love Live! Sunshine!! rejoice! With the upcoming Meets SHIZUOKA – Laid Back Camp x Love Live Sunshine campaign, fans of the moe-ness that are the two shows can get to know the Shizuoka region with their favorite! girls. Running from April 26 to September 30, the event will consist of a stamp rally and a Shizuoka PARCO pop-up shop.

As of the time of this article a campaign visual featuring Laid Back Camp‘s Nadeshiko Kakamigahara and Love Live! Sunshine!! has been released. As well as three location highlight visuals featuring, Nadeshiko Kakamigahara on the Kanzanji Rope-way. Ena Saito and Riko Sakurauchi at the Forest or Warmth. And Dia Kurosawa and Ayano Toki at the Hotayama Son’eiji Temple. The campaign’s central and eastern areas are set to open on Friday, May 17, and Friday, June 14.

While the location illustrations are provided to all participants, the Meets SHIZUOKA – Laid Back Camp x Love Live Sunshine novelty items such as badges and stickers can be bought at the rally locations or at the Shizuoka PARCO pop-up shop. While the stamp rally itself is free, you can purchase rally stamp mounds which will also get you a free novelty item.

Running from July 2016 to 2019, Love Live! Sunshine!! consists of two seasons and a movie. As well as a recently aired (2023) spin-off, Yohane of the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror. Following Love Live! tradition. The show follows the girls of Uranohoshi Girls’ Academy as they try to save the school from closing by becoming the best school idols they can be.

Currently airing its third season and counting with a movie, live-action, and ovas. Laid Back Camp is what you get when you ask a Japanese person to describe the word “comfort.” Teaching weebs the world over the art and joys of camping, Laid Back Camp follows the camping exploits of Secret Society Blanket as they quest to get the best views in Japan.
