Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable revealed a character visual and trailer for Minami Fuyuki earlier today. Studios SILVER LINK and BLADE are animating the series, which is set to premiere in January 2024. Ayane Sakura is voicing Minami.
In addition to Sakura, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Yumiri Hanamori and Reina Ueda are also part of the cast. They are voicing Tsubasa Shiki, Sayuri Akino and Rena Natsukawa respectively. The anime was previously scheduled for a 2023 premiere date but was delayed. The staff includes:
Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable (Dosanko Gyaru wa Namaramenkoi) is based on a manga written and illustrated by Kai Ikada. The serialization began on the Shonen Jump+ platform in September 2019. Shueisha published a total of 11 volumes so far.
The manga is available to read (for free) on Shueisha’s MangaPLUS platform. The plot is described as:
High school boy Tsubasa moves to Kitami City up in Hokkaido, where he meets a “gal” at a bus stop. The sight of her standing alone against the white snowscape, bare-legged despite the freezing cold, captures his heart.
