Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 revealed a trailer and a 2023 release date. The anime is a sequel to the highly-popular studio Bind anime, which premiered last year. The trailer was narrated by Rudeus’ adult self, who is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita. Studio Bind is returning to animate the sequel:
Anime Expo 2022 visitors got to see the trailer before its worldwide premiere earlier today.
The second season of the anime was announced in March of this year. Studio Bind animated the first season under Manabu Okamoto’s direction. The season aired in 2 split cours during Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 seasons and had a total of 23 episodes. An OVA episode focusing on Eris was released earlier this year.

The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. A manga adaptation is currently ongoing, along with 2 spin-offs: Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious and the recently published Eris spin-off. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
