Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 revealed a new key visual following the premiere of the fourth episode. The sequel premiered earlier this month with “episode 0.” The new visual marks the beginning of the “Ranoa Magic Academy” arc which starts next Sunday. Studio Bind is animating the series under Hiroki Hirano’s direction.
The staff for the second season includes Hiroki Hirano, who will direct the sequel, Sanae Shimada who is the character designer and Toshiya Ono who is in charge of the series composition. Masakazu Miyake is returning as the art director and Yoshiaki Fujisawa will once again be in charge of the music. Theme songs for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 are “Spiral” by LONGMAN and “Musubime” by Yuiko Ohara as the ending theme. The second cour of the season will premiere in April 2024.
The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation aired in 2 split cours during Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 seasons and had 23 episodes. The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. A manga adaptation is currently ongoing, along with 2 spin-offs: Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious and the recently published Eris spin-off.
Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
