The My Dress-Up Darling anime is finally receiving an English dub, which will start streaming on Funimation on January 29. The English cast of the series includes:
Emily Fajardo (Re-Main) is the director for the English dub while Leah Clark (Wandering Witch) will handle the script. ADR engineers James Baker (Black Clover), Xavier Earl (Golden Kamuy), and William Dewell (Fire Force) are also working on the dub version of the series.
Wakana Gojo is a debut anime role for Paul Dateh, while Marin’s voice actress Amanda Lee is a well-known name in the industry. She recently voiced Ai Hayasaka, Junko Konno, and Hougetsu Shimamura. Amanda also shared a throwback selfie as a celebration:

My Dress-Up Darling anime series is adapted from the manga by Shinichi Fukuda. The manga has been ongoing in the Young Gangan magazine since January 19, 2018. The anime is produced by CloverWorks with Keisuke Shinohara (Black Fox) as director. Yoriko Tomita (3D Kanojo: Real Girl) is also in the series as script director. The anime can be streamed on Funimation and Crunchyroll and the plot is described as:
High schooler Wakana Gojo cares about one thing: making Hina dolls. With nobody to share his obsession, he has trouble finding friends—or even holding a conversation.
But after the school’s most popular girl, Marin Kitagawa, reveals a secret of her own, he discovers a new purpose for his sewing skills. Together, they’ll make her cosplay dreams come true! (Funimation)
