My Dress-Up Darling Episode 9 Preview Released

My Dress-Up Darling episode 9 previews show a sneak-peek into the progress of Marin and Juju’s cosplay collaboration! Last week was a very wholesome episode, especially after learning the magic of photography. The next episode is titled, “Because There Was a Lot That I Saw in That Photo”

Alongside the five preview images, a description of My Dress-Up Darling episode 9 was also posted on the website. It teases how Gojo perfectly finishes both Juju and Marin’s cosplay costumes. Juju can’t wait to try on the costume. On the day of the photoshoot, an unexpected person appears. Watch the preview video below:

Included in the episode credits are Yoriko Tomita for the script and Yusuke Kawakami for the storyboard. Satomi Tamurai and Kaori Murai are credited for animation directing. My Dress-Up Darling episode 9 will air this SaturdayMarch 5, at 24:00 JST. The English subtitled versions will also be available later on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Bilibili in select regions.

My Dress-Up Darling is a manga by Shinichi Fukuda which follows the story of two high school students — Wakana Gojo is a loner who dreams to become a Hina doll-artisan while Marin Kitagawa is the popular girl in class. After an unexpected turn of events, Marin discovers Gojo’s secret sewing hobby. From that day on, Marin pulls Gojo into her own secret hobby — cosplay! It is currently being animated by studio CloverWorks.
