Even now in his new job, he’s worried that his new boss might also put him through the same power harassment. To his surprise, he discovers that Yusei Shirosaki, his new boss, is natural at being an airhead, which makes Momose’s anxieties and worries diminish.
The official Twitter /X of My New Boss Is Goofy posted a synopsis and some preview pictures for episode 1:
Momose’s mind and stomach were affected by power harassment from his boss, so he quit his previous job and took a job in sales at an advertising agency. However, due to his past trauma, he becomes worried, “What will I do if this new boss is also a power harasser?” Early on his first day at work, while making rounds, he suffers from severe stomach pain and is unable to move. “I might get kicked if I don’t stand up quickly,” Momose was worrying inwardly, but his new boss, Shirosaki, who was with him, did something that surprised him…?!
