My New Boss Is Goofy Episode 9 Preview and Synopsis Released

The preview and synopsis for episode 9 of the My New Boss Is Goofy anime have been released. The new episode will premiere this Saturday, December 2. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating it, with Noriyuki Abe as the director. Take a look at the new episode of My New Boss Is Goofy in the preview images below:

In episode 8 which premiered on November 25, Momose and Shirosaki went on a business trip to Akita Prefecture, which is where Shirosaki’s hometown is. Shirosaki received a call from his grandmother saying she had something she wanted to show him, which made Momose and Shirosaki head to Shirosaki’s parents’ house. They reminisced over old photo albums, and then Shirosaki’s grandmother revealed something completely unexpected — Shirosaki’s older brother came back to Japan after working abroad as a photographer! The synopsis for the upcoming episode is:

Momose, Shirosaki, Aoyama, and Kinjo agreed to go on a group date. Momose was downcast, recalling bad memories of a past group date with his former boss. When the date started, they talked and laughed because of Aoyama’s dad jokes. Aoyama got up from his seat and Kinjo followed him. Kinjo asked him if there was a girl he was interested in, which made Aoyama become somewhat muddled. There was a reason why Aoyama was making the place lively...

The cast of the My New Boss Is Goofy anime includes:

  • Kotaro Nishiyama as Kentaro Momose
  • Yuichiro Umehara as Yusei Shirosaki
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Mitsuo Aoyama
  • Hiro Shimono as Hakuto
  • Jun Fukuyama as Satoshi Kinjo

Ayako Kono is the assistant director of the series, with Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition. Takahiro Yasuda is the character designer and the chief animation director. Masato Nakayama is in charge of the music and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
