Futaba shows her womanly side in episode 2 of the My Senpai is Annoying anime. Following the events of the previous episode, Futaba is still stressing out about what she said to Takeda while she was drunk, so she can’t talk to him normally.

Despite being short, Futuba is still an adult woman. Hence, she tries to face Takeda like a normal grown-up would after doing something inappropriate. Thankfully, it works as intended.
Due to various circumstances, Futaba became conscious of her appearance. Of course, when you are short, and you hang out with someone taller than you, it’s normal that you might look a lot younger. Therefore, she became annoyed at the thought that she looks like a kid, so asked her friend what is the secret behind her huge chest. While overthinking, she came up with an idea that could make her look a bit more womanly. Unfortunately, it leads to a very embarrassing situation between her, Takeda, and Kazama.
I’ve spent a lot of time rewatching this scene. Seeing Kazama’s face after seeing Futaba was just too funny, and Takeda’s clueless reaction makes it even funnier.
Episode 2 of My Senpai is Annoying also gives a spotlight to some of the supporting characters, such as Sakurai and Kazama. It seems that Sakurai is famous at their company because she is the prettiest employee there. However, she turned down all the date invitations from other employees. Because of that, Kazama is wondering what kind of guy could get Sakurai’s “yes”.
Well, it’s not like he invited her on a date before. However, he suddenly does an unusual thing that results in him going out for dinner with Sakurai. Their chemistry is perfect.
Aside from Futaba and Takeda, it looks like we will also get to look forward to those two. Let’s see if the relationships will develop even more in episode 3, which will air on October 24, 2021. You can watch the series on Funimation.

Igarashi Futuba’s new job would be great if her senpai, Takeda Harumi, wasn’t so incredibly annoying! Futuba hates his laugh, she hates how big he is, and she really hates that he treats her like a little kid. Just because Futuba is short and looks young doesn’t make her a kid, and just because she spends so much time with Takeda doesn’t mean she sees him as anything but an annoying senpai…or does she?!
