UPDATED: Netflix Fall 2021 Anime - All the Exclusives

The Fall 2021 anime season is just around the corner and Netflix is truly upping their licensing game. The past few weeks have been packed with announcements about upcoming anime that will stream exclusively on Netflix.

Netflix managed to snag some of the most anticipated titles of the year and, while that is not uncommon, it’s interesting that some of them will be weekly simulcasts. The news could be a sign of Netflix changing its release policy, which would be good news for overseas anime fans.

Let’s take a look at the full list of Netflix Fall 2021 anime exclusives and their schedules below.

Komi Can’t Communicate

Komi Can’t Communicate is a long-awaited anime adaptation of the manga with the same name. The anime begins airing on October 6 in Japan. Netflix will stream the first episode on October 7 in Japan, while the fans overseas will have to wait until October 21, after which the anime will release weekly.

The Way of the Househusband Part 2

The sequel to the popular anime is coming on October 7. Sadly, the anime will again only have 5 episodes, but all of them will be available at once.

Blue Period

Blue Period is another anime that is getting a worldwide release on Netflix shortly after Japan. The anime premieres on October 1 in Japan, although it will have an exclusive Netflix screening of episode 1 on September 25. The worldwide premiere is on October 9, and after that, the anime will release new episodes weekly.

Violet Evergarden the Movie

The long-awaited Violet Evergarden movie is finally going to be available on Netflix worldwide on October 13. The original Violet Evergarden TV anime is also available on Netflix, and so is the Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll movie, so fans will have plenty of time to catch up.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement Part 2

The conclusion to The Seven Deadly Sins anime aired back in June 2021, and Netflix is finally releasing the remaining 12 episodes on September 23. The first half of the season is available to watch on their site, along with previous seasons and the movie.
