NTT Solmare Corp announced its plans to launch MangaPlaza back in December 2021, with the aim to bring the US manga fans a wide range of titles through several genres: shonen, shojo, seinen, josei, boys’ love, and teens’ love. A month following the announcement, they launched a series of pre-registration bonuses on their trial page. These campaigns included products and promotions, such as the exclusive world premiere of English Obey Me! The Comic, collaborations with Akidearest, and a subscription cash bonus campaign for pre-registrations ahead of the official launch.
MangaPlaza boasts access to nearly 50,000 chapters from more than 2,000 titles. Fans can purchase individual chapters without a subscription with the cost ranging between $0.45 to $3.99, or they can subscribe for a monthly fee of $6.99 which offers unlimited access to around 13,000 chapters. Most available titles in the library also offer one chapter for free.
