The NieR:Automata anime adaptation has revealed a trailer titled ‘Promotion File 008’ and confirmed a January 7, 2023 premiere date. Studio A-1 Pictures is in charge of the animation, and the official title of the anime is NieR:Automata Ver1.1a. The new trailer is mainly action featuring 2B voiced by Yui Ishikawa and 9S voiced by Natsuki Hanae. Watch the new trailer:
The previously released trailers and visuals featured 2B and 9S. Atsumi Tanezaki voices Lily, Daisuke Namikawa and Tatsuhisa Suzuki voice Adam and Eve, Ayaka Suwa voices A2. Chiaki Kano will voice the YoRHA Squadron Commander, while Keiko Isobe will voice Operator 6O and Meari Hatsumi will voice Operator 21O.
