The Wano Country arc is well underway both in the One Piece anime and manga, and we finally have the voice actor for Yamato – Hayami Saori! It was announced on the official YouTube channel, and you can check it out below:
This came shortly after the release of the 2nd celebration short movie in the WE ARE ONE project, which you can also watch below. There’s an animated part, but it only lasts from 4:43 to 5:57. However, it features some of the strongest women from One Piece, including Yamato voiced by Saori Hayami, Boa Hancock, Perona, Robin, and more! Definitely worth a watch:
The voice actress is well known for a lot of her previous roles. Some of the most notable ones being Shinobu Kochou from Demon Slayer, Yukinoshita Yukino from Oregairu, Shiba Miyuki from The Irregular at Magic High School, Nishimiya Shouko from Koe no Katachi, etc. Hayami Saori is sure to be a great voice for Yamato!
She is yet to make an appearance in the anime, and pretty much every manga fan is excited for that moment! Episode 989 came out yesterday, and episode 990 will release next Sunday on September 5.
