According to the official MANGA Plus website, the One Piece manga will take a break this week, which means chapter 1026 will not release on September 19. Instead, it will come out a week later on September 26. Considering that Oda delivered 4 amazing chapters in a row since August 22nd, it feels like he deserves a break even more so than usual! The 100th volume of the manga released on September 13:
The volume sold over a million copies within the first week, which made One Piece the first series to have 100 volumes with over a million sold copies. Oda also wrote a message to fans with its release, thanking everyone and promising to guide us to the end. He’s obviously had a lot of things to keep track of these days, so a break every few weeks feels like the best course of action. As we wait, we can always listen to the “TWILIGHT” song by RADWIMPS on repeat:
Meanwhile, the anime is getting closer, as we are now introduced to Yamato. The character’s made a strong debut, and the episode ended on a cliffhanger after Yamato remembered Ace. You can watch One Piece on either Funimation or Crunchyroll. Episode 992 will premiere next week on September 19.
With that said, the next One Piece chapter will release the week after the break, which means September 26. Yamato and Luffy are ready to face Kaido again, and there’s still so many things happening! You can also catch up to the latest One Piece manga chapter for free on either VIZ website or MANGA Plus. There’s also the Shonen Jump mobile app, which costs $2/month and allows ‘unlocking’ 100 chapters per day.
